ABOUT US
Opera Alegría was formed in 2012 by soprano Naomi Kilby with the aim of bringing together a group of friends to create small scale versions of little known one-act Operas. Their first production in February 2013 was Menotti's The Medium, followed by a double bill of Mozart's Bastien & Bastienne with The Impresario in 2014, showcasing Lindsay Bramley's bespoke English translations and updating both pieces to modern-day London.
They have produced several concerts and fundraisers, always including ensemble pieces, both well known and more obscure.
